Hi there,
I'm new to the FOG and Festool ownership in general, anyways I picked up a track saw about a month ago and am struggling with it a bit. My main issue is my DC hose and power cord always getting caught on the track, or the saw just getting caught sometimes again moving the track. Now I don't have any track clamps or anything yet (next purchase) or a hose deflector as I was sort of under the impression that the track would be tacky enough to hold the line without. Just wondering what techniques you guys use to keep the cord and dc hose out of the way when cutting that don't involve buying a boom or wrapping yourself up in it as that seems a bit unsafe and in my experience causes more issues. I got this tool to simplify things but right now its giving me more grief than making life easier. I'm not super interested in buying more stuff as I've spent about $4000 on festool in the last 2 months (and new sander on the way). Thanks for the input!
