In comparison with my old TS55, the plastic connector for the dust extraction hose is very loose so that, unlike on my old saw, you can't position it where you want it. When you connect a hose, the connector swings down so that the hose drags along the rail. Warren from Toolfest was good enough to confirm that this was also the case with other new saws and also confirm that his old TS55 was like mine in that the hose connector was quite a tight fit to the saw.
I therefore unscrewed the side panel - 5 torx screws - and wrapped a turn of insulating tape round the plastic connector. It is a lot better but I think it might need a second turn.
Not sure if this is supposed to be an improvement but as far as I'm concerned it is a fault - albeit one that can easily be corrected.
