I have a new airstream TSC 55 Track Saw that I purchase offline and after a few days of using it still on the first battery charge I started having an issue where on occasion maybe 20% of the time when I go to start the saw I get a blinking red light which from the owners manual says there is a short.

It appears to be only when I'm using the new airstream batteries, when I use my old 5.2 non airstream batteries I have yet to notice this. I'm going to give Festool an call in the morning but am just curious as to what you guys think the reason is for this as when I take those same airstream batteries in my HKC saw or Drill they work just fine.

Here is a video showing the issue.

Hi, I'm also having issues with my saw blinking red and not operating. This has happened a couple of times out of the six or so times in using this saw. Just purchased it this year. I was wondering if you ever got this issue resolved?

This sounds like the problem I and some others have had when using some of the new BT batteries on the HKC, though in those cases, I don't think the battery worked at all, as opposed to the occasional red lighting you describe:https://www.festoolownersgroup.com/festool-tool-problems/bluetooth-battery-doesn't-work-in-just-one-tool/

First I've heard of it with the TSC, but it appears likely to be the same issue.  I resolved it by getting a new battery from the dealer for free -- and got to keep the old one that still works with everything save the HKC.
