I think there might be an issue with the news letter. I signed up a while back but, have never received a news letter. I think I even tried another email address without success.
Just now, I tried to re register but, it said my email is in use, so I must be registered but, do not get the news? I am across the pond though, so not sure if that makes a difference?
It was this thread that had reminded me that I’ve never had a letter  [scratch chin]

I had the same problem until someone at TSO looked into it fixed it. Then started receiving the emails. Before that I tried 3 different email addresses, all the went through like they were accepted, but never received in email on any of them in over a year. But I'm good now, at least until I posted this which will probably kill it again.

2. MailChimp TSO INSIDER newsletter distribution: we have given up trying to fix problems which industry pros keep telling us are systemic and beyond our control. Hard to accept but at some point we need  to move on. Please accept our apology.

3. Reports by Jobsworth about the $65 pricing on %)" TPG-50 Tracks (only) on our website may be misleading you: Ron's order brought to our attention that an earlier price-marking error on our website had gone uncorrected - until his order made us aware and we corrected it to the $ 99.95 it should have been right along.

4. Don't give up hope: look for future sale notices here on the FOG  [smile]

Was the lower price an error (too low?), or the fact it was active longer than expected?  I understand that the TPG-50 tracks were priced at an introductory price once they started shipping, for a while (30 days?). I got an in-stock notification on August 1st, and ordered on 8/8 at $65. I don't know the exact date, but it seems Ron ordered a little over a week later and also got the discount price.
