Just for giggles, treating this as an Easter Egg hunt for a few minutes, has anyone found the item that’s 40% off yet?

Hello Michael,
I like your sense of humor.
Not only is there more than one item at 40% off, but there is actually another item with an even bigger percent off.

Let's see who finds it first! . . .

And we're busy bringing some combo pricing into the SALE price category as well after  some customers pointed the oversight out to us.

Hans and Eric

Aha!  Kaizen foam blank.. That is a great deal!

Ugg - nothing on my list on sale.

Easily solved problem---rewrite the list...

Tom

Went back and found the UJK 20mm bit for about 40% off so added the BigFoot and angle attachment I wanted to save on shipping.

[cool] Thanks Hans & Eric

Just bought the GRS-16 PE & TDS-10 kit. Can’t wait to try them out on my MFT.

hello William,
and welcome to the growing ranks of TSO tool woodworkers.

We look forward to seeing some pictures on the FOG of your use of the TDS-10 Dog Stops as well as a project on which you are using the GR-16 PE Guide Rail Square.

And, yes, we do appreciate your purchase - thank you!

Hans

That Domino base looks pretty sweet.  [big grin]  I didn't know about that product until I saw this thread.  Will definitely order one tomorrow.

I bought one a week or so ago. Its really well built No flex like the original one sold by FT. Ill be using the heck outta it on a up coming project in a week or so.

Hey Jobby  [big grin]  Thanks for the user update and referral.

To all:  I see the difference between the GRS16 and GRS16PE has to do with placement (former can only be placed on the front of the work and the latter can be either front side or back side of work piece).  For those who have one or the other (or both), which way do you usually use these ?  Front side or back side?

[member=6193]Rob Z[/member]  From my experience with the PE for short parts I like to register from the rear but wider stock from the front. But, a feature the 16 has over the 16PE is it has a 45 deg reference side.

[member=6193]Rob Z[/member] - the most common use is at the "front" of the cut which the the GRS-16 does just as well as the -PE version.
The -PE version has the added versatility of using it at the "far end" - what we also label as the LEFT Hand side when using with the TSO Parallel Guide.

You'll come to understand that our approach is to design solutions in a "System" manner to give you choices for combining the various functions and capabilities tailored to your particular job on that particular day.

We're seeing customer buy sets of both GRS-16 versions and also coming back later to add a second one.

Enjoy the discovery of what these tools will let you do.

[member=6193]Rob Z[/member] and [member=4518]Mike Goetzke[/member]  - the 45 degree feature on the GRS-16 comes with a standard M6 tapped mounting hole pattern which can be used to attach our Large 15” Angle Accessory  to give you greater  accuracy.

I have both the PE and the original.  I gave  the original to my son and use the PE exclusively now.  I find that I use it in both 'pull' and 'push' situations - ie on the front and on the back of a piece.  That flexibility pays off depending on what you are cutting.  I mostly use on the front but on narrower pieces find the back can also be useful.

One of the most useful guide rail saw accessories you can find.  Add the new parallel guide for added flexibility since these tools are pre-drilled for additional accessories.

Maybe I’m mistaken... feel like when I purchased my TPG right hand system it shipped for free??

Perhaps that was during the initial production run?

Left hand and an adapter is calling my name, can’t seem to pull the trigger.

[member=67057]rj_mccall[/member] - Have you checked in with ULTIMATE Tools, Burnaby, BC?
they carry TSO Products assortment.

- and your question about free shipping - that was a promotion during the introduction. We also had a free shipping promotion during "Christmas in July".

Hans

Missed the sale by a day. Had no idea of the product line, but I might have fallen in love with the precision triangle system and guide rail square. Will keep an eye out for the next sale.

[member=24307]msc[/member] [member=53696]Roachmill[/member] we understand and thank you for your interest in our products.

AXMINSTER have a large stock order, including all of TSO's newer products, readied for shipment this week from our warehouse in Minnesota, USA.

Hans

That's your shipment going live (well, for backordering) on the Axminster site. No DBF-45 so far though :'(

I see that the TPG Adapter from Axminster  will not include the screw knobs, self centering washers or the allen key. For the price it should include all these parts just as it is sold by TSO. I don't know why these parts have been left out for Axminsters stock without price reduction.
