Turbo Suction Brush (450644) -- Worth it?

Bumping this thread as Im considering picking up the Turbo Suction Brush. Anyone go with the Nilfisk 32mm Turbo Floor Nozzle? Found it here (LINK) for $87 shipped, or even less from Zoro with a coupon and thinking of going that route to save about $50 over the Festool. Doesnt even look like Festool puts their logo on their version. Not that the logo would be worth $50, but still, exactly what am I paying extra for?

Also, has anyone tried the Fein PB350 Electric Floor Brush (LINK)? Do either of the Festool hoses fit it?

Re-bumping this thread as our home vacuum cleaner met an untimely end. After ten passes failed to pick up a fruit loop on the carpet, our old Dyson made a graceful, aerial exit through our front door and onto the lawn, exploding into pieces.

I did a little more digging around on the Festool Turbo Nozzle as it seems to be the only good Festool attachment for carpet. I have the Festool 36mm aluminum industrial floor nozzle (452908) which is fantastic for flat floors but drags on medium-pile carpet, as does the 36mm polypropylene interchangeable floor nozzle included in the Festool 203430 Compact Cleaning Set.

Totally unwilling to pay $150 for the turbo nozzle, I hunted around and discovered that the Festool nozzle is simply a rebranded Wessel-Werk TK270 Turbo Nozzle. Availability in the U.S. seems to be spotty but a few websites had it listed for a fraction of the price of the Festool version. I believe the TK270 comes with a 32mm nozzle, which I'm not sure would fit the tool end of a D36 hose, but Bosch makes a 1-1/4 to 35mm adapter available on Amazon for $3.99.

Also, availability for the TK270 seems limited because it has been replaced by the newer TK284, which can be purchased on eBay for $35:https://www.ebay.com/itm/183214238140

So I ended up getting the TK284 for $35 and the Bosch adapter. We'll see if it all plugs together!

Huh.  Give us a report when you get a chance to test it out.

The wessel werk TK270 is the same as the Festool one but with out the Festool
Sticker the sticker is worth £100 hence why Festool can charge £100+ for the turbo head.

I’ve got one and I’ve checked it with a Festool one and it’s identical.

I paid like £35 or something many years ago and it still working now.

It’s really powerful

Apart from being baffled that you discarded one where the motor was still running (when they stop to suck it's usually the motor filter that needs a good wash, all people I have met so far that claimed that their dyson 'sucks' skipped that part of the manual):
Depending on the type of dyson you possibly can recycle the air powered brush head for use with the CT VAC.

I recently bought a Fein turbo II to use a home for $499.00 and got the electric power head free!  I works great.  I bought this, my fourth Fein (other three are in my shops pulling through steel Oneida cyclones).

I have a CT36 with a 36mm hose and the Festool Turbo brush, which I fortunately grabbed off of Ebay for $70. Our house vac is a Dyson Animal Ball Upright. There is NO comparison, the Dyson although lacking the suction of the CT, kicks the Festool head to the curb. Trying to vac a bathroom carpet the Festool constantly stops, where as the Dyson just keeps on spinning, as it is a powered head.

The point is an electrical powered head is superior to a vacuum powered head.

Want to vac your house...buy a Kirby! Want to clean up after a demo, buy a CT with a brush head.

The Dyson's best attribute is the fact it can be emptied after every vac, so there is no smell. My sister and mother both have Miele canister vacs with bags and they stink, especially since there is a dog in house. I won't be replacing my Dyson home vac anytime soon as it does a good enough job of cleaning. Cordless Dyson sticks are where it is at for home vacs! Bought my mom one and she doesn't even use her Miele anymore. Plus the Dyson Stick has a hardwood floor attachment.

I have the total opposite experience.

Have the best dyson upright available at the time.

Regarding dogs dysons are pants

The Festool turbo or the identical alternative without the £100 sticker has loads of power it’s almost impossible to stop the spinning head brush

The Festool vacs handles any kinda dirt and dog hair no problem.

Only downside to the Festool vac is it’s size and it does blow out smell but regarding performance it kicks  over the dyson in every single way
