UJK Chamfer Tool Enhancement for the Arthritic Woodworker

I struggle to use this clever tool due to the ever present arthritis in my fingers, so I came up with this "crank" to assist the process. I thought it might be of interest to others in the woodworking community that suffer from the same affliction.

Love it! After one 48 hole top my cramping hand could barely hold my celebratory beverage.

Admittedly, I did switch over the a cordless router with a chamfer bit but your idea is still fantastic.

Yea, I tried to use that thing once and immediately switched over to trim router.  They should have at least put some type of socket adaptor to put in on a drill.

A very nice mod. You don’t need to struggle with arthritis to enjoy this.

I made something similar, minus the fancy knob, just to remove tight dogs from the holes. It works far better and doesn't scratch them up like pliers would.

I assume they were getting feedback about not being able to use the chamfer tool in a drill chuck. Unfortunately, I had bought the standalone chamfer & reamer tools prior to that evolution.

^^ I have one of these.  It's great for adjusting the fit of a dog hole, especially if something gets spilled.  Still prefer the router for chamfering a fresh hole though.

Totally could have used that the other day.  Fortunately I only had 4 holes to do so I grabbed a rag and some Channellocks as to not mar the tool.
