UK - £39.96 inc VAT FESTOOL 495020 RB-SYS SYSTAINER ROLLER CART

I've not had mine either, but I know Anglia are a reliable retailer.

My email that said "with us in 5-6 days" was sent on Friday 20th, so I'm expecting I'll receive the boards early this week. The 5-6 days is normal for items that ship to the dealer from Festool Germany, so I'm not surprised when I hear those sort of comments from dealers to be honest.

They specifically told me it would be last week, I would not have agreed to any longer as we are off on holiday early tomorrow so there won't be anyone around to receive any packages. You may have found them reliable, but I have not, they stated last week and have not delivered on that or contacted me to let me know otherwise, when I would have then cancelled as we cannot receive them. Yes they were a few quid cheaper than anywhere else, but sometimes you have to pay extra for good service.

Personally I will probably stick with FFX and N&B, they both have competitive prices and have never let me down with regard to delivering when agreed or contacting me if there are any issues.

Sorry to hear that Ed. There's never a good reason for bad service and it appears they've not delivered on their promises to you which is a shame.

I occasionally use FFX, but almost all of my Festool gear has come from N&B and I agree, you can't fault the customer service at either.

I have used anglia tool centre before and seen them at shows so they are reputable dealers. Their website shows this as out of stock. I will ring them tomorrow. It would have been nice if they at least sent an email acknowledging the delay and the order is actually processing.

I spoke to Anglian tool center on Thursday afternoon as I was expecting my roll board to have been delivered. The very helpful gentleman explained they had been let down by their supplier (festool?) and that the boards will be dispatched middle of next week.
When I placed my order I also purchased a pretty bling Stanley knife to get over the fifty pound delivery threshold. It was to be a birthday present for a coworker. I asked the order to be split.... The knife arrived 11am the next day  [eek]
Enough said

Not so, if they had problems meeting their previously agreed timescales, they should have contacted all of those who were waiting and explained the position, not just left us waiting to receive something that wasn't coming. They had my phone number because the phoned me when I placed the order to tell me that they were out of stock (even though at the time I ordered my 2 they were showing as 'in stock'.

So, aside from not meeting their commitment they did not take the trouble to inform those that were waiting. I can't see where the 'good customer service' is in this situation.

I've spent in excess of £5000 since Christmas 14 on tools/accessories (not all Festool stuff either) and for me good customer service rates higher than cost alone, especially for the cheaper items. If a retailer doesn't show good customer service during the buying process, what hope have you got when something goes wrong with your purchase!

I've used Anglia several times without ever having a problem. FWIW, they are usually the cheapest of any supplier for empty systainers.
