Good Morning

Just a note to let you know we have a FESTOOL MORNING coming up on Saturday 8th October, 9.30 -12.30, we're really looking forward it. Tea and coffee available throughout the morning (plus you get to keep your FESTOOL mug) and frankfurter hotdogs at the interval. There are still places available so call us now on 01483 727227 to book your place!

Tom Hyslop will be in attendance from FESTOOL and we'll be going through the DOMINO DF 700 XL, TI 15 Impact and SYSLITE in depth. Everyone can have a go, Dominio-ing, Impact-ing and Syslite-ing?! It's a real hands-on event, but no pressure to buy, just play with the new toys.

If there is anything else you would like to see, let me know and I'll ask Tom to bring it along.

I will also have all of my PROTOOL demo kit available which includes, SSP 200 Sword Saw, ISP 330 Insulation Saw, PDC 18-4 Cordless Combi, DRC 12-4 Drill Driver, PLP 350 Beam Planer, SBP 285 Portable Band Saw, CCP Carpentry Chainsaw, CMP Chain Mortiser, VCP 260 Dust Extractor, DSC-AGP Dust Free Cutters, DWC Cordless Autofeed Screwdrivers.

We are probably the only place in the UK you can see and try all these PROTOOL machines, so if you're interested, especially those of you into oak timber framing, please do come along.

PM or email me, or call 01483 727227 to book your place.

Best regards

Warren

Not probably  YOU are the ONLY uk dealer in the UK who can sell and try protools as other dealers in the uk are NOT aloud to sell protool apart from you.

The ssp200 came in handy the other week I had to rip an oak beam in half the oak.  The beam was 13inch so I had to cut it twice from other side.

Hi James

Okay, we are the only PROTOOL Dealership at the moment.

Good to hear you are using the SSP 200, I'm wondering though with a maximum cutting depth of 200mm did you have to remove the riving knife? Was it okay, any issues?

Best regards

Yes I had to remove the riving knife to do the cut as it gets in the way as you know.  I wish they made it easier to remove the riving knife as I would reattach the riving knife back on again but to be honest I don't see the need for the riving knife to be attached so I don't think ill ever be putting it back on again.  It cut through the oak beam like butter with no issues at all.  I was a little scared at first thinking is it a good idea as we are talking about a chain saw at the end of the day which are dangerous tools to use.
