As often is the case, us here in Europe get some of the Festool machines before you guys over the pond.

However upon looking through the international website I stumbled across this little beauty.

Anyone give me some heads up on its function and role. Is it a TS55 without the use of the rail?

Also is it going to become available in the UK?

Cheers in advance

Pictures!!!!
It once was a Festo AXP saw and later became a Protool CSP. Now it's back as a Festool HK 132.
It's also available with rails of 2 and 3 meter and an angle device.
Beware of this beast, it's almost a two man machine of 18 kg weight.
And indeed it's not yet available over the pond yet.

And a link too.

Comes with 350mm (14") blade diameter. And, you can also fit it with a 250mm/10" diameter x 50mm/2" wide rebating head. [eek]

A beast indeed!

Jeez, be able to cut some serious roofing members and rip stock timber on site with that  [eek]

I do not think that will be making it's way into my Festool collection..... just yet.

You are better of with the old protool now festool chain saw sword depending on application.
