They got in last week at the local Festool pushers nest.
The kit looks great and there are tons of good stuff in there. :)

They sell like hotcakes  [eek] and a passing customer urged me to get one for my bonus check, he told me they had bought two because they were fighting over it at work. ;)

I managed to resist though, don't get me wrong - I really like this one, better than the others but now that I have micro managed my accessories I'd hate to start over again. Also, the bonus check equalled a new C15 set with 5,2Ah batteries. ;)

We have them listed at £198 inc VAT (Other dealers will no doubt vary). Our batch left Germany on Tuesday and are due early this week, although it does seem like forever for them to arrive.

Are these a limited time or quota order?  Will you be getting more?

I will be in Aberdeen for five days in mid-March. I would be interested in having a set shipped to the hotel where I'll be staying during my annual Simulator Recurrency.  I can then pack it back to Nigeria, and then later back to the USA on my return.  I can probably also get VAT refund at the airport in Aberdeen on the way out.

Please advise if you can ship; how much; and how long in transit to ABD.

They are a Limited Edition, and I think there were 300 or 400? made, but I'm not sure if that is just for the UK or EU. Anyway we had 16 come in today, half have already shipped tonight to customers. When we get down to the last 2 or 3 I'll attempt to reorder and only then will I know if we'll get more, such is the format with Limited Editions I suppose.

For you sir, I'll happily ship to your hotel during your stay but you may wish to order and pay in advance to guarantee you get one. See how you feel and let me know.

Just ordered one. To me it looks a lot better value than the installers set and contains a lot more of the stuff I would use every day. Hopefully there is enough room in the lower tray for all the other bits of centrotec I own.
 
Why is this not offered in USA ??? Underwriters limited has issues with drill bits an screw tips. Or Festool wants to see clients disappointed. I just don't get it certainly not the way most multi national company's function. For example Mafell has the same tools and accsisories on every website world wide.
Of all the limited edition  installers kits offered ever this one is perfect and I will have to jump through flaming hoops to try to get one because of my location. Wow
