Good Morning

Although if you are in Woking this morning the rain is making it far from good.

Anyway my colleague spotted this in a Systainer yesterday, not seen one like it before and haven't seen a Festool employee to ask yet, so any ideas? Has this been mentioned before and I missed it?

Best regards

Warren

I agree, it is in the place where a strengthening bar goes, but it just looks a bit complicated to just do that?

Looks like it has clips for something to slot into it...

Just noticed That the new Duo light systainer has one of those new looking strengthening bars in it as well.

Interesting , as Jonny says it looks like its designed to have stuff clipped into it. Maybe dividers or something.

Certainly looks like a holder for a small box or bit tray or a variety of things depending on the use of the Systainer.

Access to the hinge pins too.

Hi
Thanks for the heads up Shane.
I have asked HQ about this as I have never seen it before either. There is a bar supplied to dealers to keep the lid open on dealer displays but not in this profile.
Will let you know.

Ahaa!

I think I found your mystery part;

It's part of the new "Combi" Sytainer. Like the Sys Combi 2 and Sys Combi 3 (are those NAINA??).

My first guess that it must have been part of a sortainer, but this comes pretty close.

See EKAT under 10017100

Or see attached image. Excuses for the size; I use a 30" [tongue]

No clue though on what Festool has in store for the option to attach stuff to it.

If you go to the Tanos site and look at the enlarged photo, it's the same back rail.

So it looks like it allows the adapter that we've seen on the *outside* of Systainers to also be used on the *inside* of Systainers (which is also roughly how the German translates).

Mystery solved. Sort of. Though why it was in the original Systainer in the photo may still be a conundrum...  [huh]

are they where you would store  the brackets when not in use on the outside of the systainer?

Don't think so.

The translation from German of the Tanos web page;

Item No. 80590726
light gray
Comprising adapter set "ADAPT-L", 2 pieces and Traverse for transporting bulk material and work in systainer® T-Loc II - V and systainer® T-Loc "SYS-Combi II + III"
