The strappy-things are in the video I just posted and are being used to attach a level to the front of a Systainer. They slide into the label slots, the same way the optional front handle attaches.
Is it just me, but i can't think of a single use for this?
Once a tool inlay and the tool and accessories are in the systainer there will be little or no space left for this holder and even then what do you attach to it?

Have to agree, there seems to be some strange thinking behind this one, almost like looking to fix a problem that doesn't exist. Maybe on a sys 4 or 5 you could find a use for it but I don't know.
Going back to my previous life...In the new product "discovery" phase of a project, all possible product enhancement suggestions are embraced and sometimes these "enhancements" actually become viable marketing solutions and are promoted, until they are proven to be non-starters. This may be the case with this product. Give it some time, if this item is no longer offered in 2 years...the marketing gods have spoken.
