Just to remind you all the Festool European Tour is coming to Slingers 1858 in Preston, Lancashire, UK tomorrow (Wednesday 3rd April).  So come down and see us if you are nearby to see the amazing tour bus with demonstrations, chances to win Festool tools & the exclusive Slingers prize draw to win 1 of 5 Festool prizes including a Syslite, Midi TL systainer & 3 Mini systainers.  All you need to do is visit us tomorrow & fill in our prize draw form to be in with a chance of winning.  As always free refreshments are available throughout the day!

I was hoping to come over tomorrow, but alas, cannot get time off work. I'm going to have to settle for seeing the truck on Saturday at another dealer. I've never been to that dealer before even though they're a couple of minutes from where I work. I suspect they won't put in as much effort as you guys will...

Never one to turn down free food if I can help it!

Hi Dave

Everything will be setup with Festool from 10am till 4pm but we are open as usual from 7:30am till 5pm.  Free bacon butties will be going from around 8:30am as well till 4:00pm ish in the afternoon.  Don't forget to enter our own prize draw to win 1 of 5 Festool products as well, it should be a good day!

Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it & for those who can't we will have a video of the day as well as some photos that we will post online after.

I'm really jealous Pete , too far for me to go. I don't know how festool planned their tour but my nearest venue is redhill , about 27 miles away from me

It seems to be stopping at more places oop north

First time post guys be nice love the forum  saving up to get some festools  love everything about the
Company a wee bit price but getting around that went to the road show in Glasgow took the day of with my boss
To go to it an hour and twenty  each way  the truck was cool really wish the reps gave a dam went to buy the dominio
The guy inside didn't really care the guy give the demo on the dominio it was like it was his first the to use it it was
Embarrassing it wasn't a good experience  my wasn't impressed we end up leaving empty handed hopefully  it not like that everywhere

The demonstrators/reps can sometimes talk rubbish and there's a few who are unhelpful but there are some who know a lot. You know you can ask them to come to you and demo anything ? You wouldnt get that from many companies.

Ye rang up head office and told them what happened they weren't impressed so they said the rep  can come out to demo the tools but I did abit of nosing and found out that the guy the was inside suppose to be sell the machines he is the local rep  so he might be better one to one really  want a shot of the the dominio and a wee play with it  ;D

Yeah my local one told me he would leave me vouchers if I had a demo , didn't say how much. So its 10% ;D
