Please can someone recommend a circular saw blade sharpening service?  I live in North Lincolnshire, but would use a postal service if necessary.

The Festool universal blade for my TS75 has dulled after cutting lots of particle board, OSB and plywood.  The blade is definitely not dirty, I've cleaned it so it looks like new!

Thanks in advance,
regards

theres a guy I used to take my blades to near Huntingdon. If yer willing to make the drive Lemme know and ax my mate if he remembers his details,

he did s real good job fast and fairly inexpensive had a shop in the back of his house.

Hello Jobsworth, that's a 240mile (5hrs) round trip for me.  Thanks for the thought.  I'll probably just buy a new one, but it's a shame to throw out the old one.

Hi Bob,

I am lucky to be just 12 miles from an Axminster store. I take all of my circular saw blades there and it is almost half the price that I was being charged from the specialist service in the West Country. The standard of the work is excellent.

This may be a local arrangement rather than one national saw sharpening company and so it may vary from store to store.

I have used Bedford Saw a number of times - they do a good service (eg they have sharpened my Kapex blades which are not straightforward as they have variable spacing - good postal service).https://www.bedfordsaw.co.uk/sharpening-service-bedford-saw-tool

I always have a spare blade, but like you tend to leave it a while before actually fitting it - prepare to be amazed on the TS75 when you actually fit a new/re-sharpened blade!

Cheers

yeh...the TS75 with a new blade cuts like a hot knife through butter when it's OSB.  It's now taking some (not much, just a little) effort to push the saw through the material.  That's how i noticed the blade was dull.
Regards
Bob
