Just got a few t -loks, Slingers always give great service and have some good offers on. On another note, i just bought a carvex battery powered off Axminster, i think they must of made a mistake on the website, The list price is £380, they had them on offer for £308 for the old style systainer and £276 with the new t- lok , had to have one at that price.

doh! lucky brits! for some reason slingers wont ship festool accessories overseas to norway. Damn thats cheap compared to over here, we have one reseller in norway, and they want almost 100 pounds for the systaner with inserts. Damn monopoly : /

Hi Kristoffer  [welcome] to the fog there are quite a few of you guys in Norway here on the fog

You can buy the inserts for the Fein through Bunny Bolts, I should get mine in a day or so, I'll let you know how it fits.

I ordered my T locs (best price) from slingers on thurs, came monday also a rail guide for of1400. Excellent service from Slingers. Wished i lived "up north". ;D

Rearranged my tools a bit put my fein in a sys 1., now have spare fein insert from tanos will fit classic and t loc (Was for t loc Sys 2 but had to trim a bit to go in a Sys2 classic)
If anyone in uk wants it pm me.

Also got last 350mm level from festool. Apparently stopped selling  them (only 350mm not 800 and 1400's) as Stabila told them to stop,(they make em for festool) something about infringing their business.

Keep looking at Slingers web site , they are going to do another T LOC special that will let you organise  all you driver bits and drills.
I was in the other day and am trying to talk David into doing  exclusive ,UK FOG member benifits...................

http://www.slingers1858.co.uk/Systainers-with-inserts/           This one the Tloc UNI

They've been on offer for a week or so now those uni ones.

Pete messaged me the other day to see if he could use my fein in sys 1 photo, I see its on the website now. Shame I'm so far away would be good to pop in the shop and look around.

Bit of a treck for you joiner, [big grin]

It is a great place to have a rumage about in. They carry a huge stock of accessories, ON THE SHELF! and acres of abrasives. I have never had to get them to order any accessories. They even have those random obscure stuff for the 1010 and the big 85 planer.

John, next time you are in can you ask if they have the diced foam inserts & foam lid for the classic systainer ?  I want to put my Makita hammer drill into my Fogtainer 2 & my Makita electric drill into the Fogtainer 1.

Cheers.

Evening Woodguy

They just about have everything in stock, they even have the paint stirrer and paddles. [big grin]

How long to wait for the beast to turn up now? [big grin]

Note that if they don't have anything on the site, you just mail them saying "can you get me a 50 mm x 4m hose" (for example) and they add it to the site very quickly.

Just ordered my first T-Loc (with the screw boxes), along with one of the older T12's on offer at £298.80 - and that's for the set version! My first Festool drill! The batteries on my Makita set have finally died completely, and at about £60 each for new Makita batteries I decided that an upgrade was due. [big grin]

I was tempted by the drill but didnt go for it. Ive got too much Makita stuff and Im more than happy with that. 2 drills, impact, radio and just bought the sds drill and some more batteries, ive had the impact and drills for ages now still on original batteries after what must be 5 + years of trade use cant beat it  [big grin]

Has anyone bought one of the sys1 UNI's yet Im just curious as to what is the lid insert like, it doesnt look like polystyrene like the screw box sys 1's have, more like some sort of board or card with backing.
