UK TS55 Owners: Axminster 160mm contract blades

For those of us in the UK (& parts of Europe) the new 160mm contract blades from Axminster seem quite reasonably priced:

Rip, 12 teeth, £10.45
General Purpose, 28 teeth, £15.96
Crosscut, 48 teeth, £22.96

160mm (choice of 12, 28, & 48 teeth)
2.2mm kerf
20mm bore

I'd be interested to hear of any first-hand experiences with them.

I popped into my local (50 mile round trip  : ) aptc today for some items, not only did they not have any of those blades in stock the staff knew nothing about them either  [doh] no replacement drill bits for the centrotec HSS so had to modify a cheapo one......
Honestly they carried more when they were nearer me in a small shop than they do now in that purpose built showroom at Bobbing.
So will have to await some other intrepid reviewers post to help me decide whether to try them out (I like to look at stuff first as a rule before ordering online).

trend do a blade 12 quid plus vat it's ok for the money

Picked up a 48 tooth axminster blade last night and ordered a 28 tooth. Will try the 48 tooth on Monday to see what they're like.

Also treated myself to a new worktop jig while in there. Bought the multipurpose one so I can now do 10mm offset for square edged tops.
