Warren - can you ship systainers to France?.. don't seem to find anyone who does them here. A couple of sites listed on the Tanos site for France, but they don't actually stock or sell them! I want to replace all my Festool systainers with Anthracite ones, plus add a few more...

Thanks for the site info, aware of them but they still don't offer deals across the board just specific items which are the same items that are available at most festool shops, my supplier often sends me flyers but, as with the sites, they are backed by Festool not the supplier.

My argument with Festool France is that in the UK and Germany all tools are generally 25 - 30% off and up to 50% on consumables, so why do France want full up for everything and on a very very good day offer only 15%.
When I bought my vacuum clamping systems from them I had to keep going back to them because they were offering me just 10% on over €6300 worth of kit, they eventually, after I said I would rather drive to Cologne and buy them there than pay over the odds for them with my local supplier, offered me the lot for €5000, but I have never had anything near that since despite spending large amounts each time.

Down here in the south of France there is a massive slowdown in construction activity so maybe Festool will react by offering discounts on what, without doubt, overpriced tools.

Seem to remember it was a UK enquiry against the practices of Festool Germany and their price fixing policies.

I'm really curious to know who it was....

Don't know exactly but when it happened I remember the Regional Sales Director having a stab at me for buying festool products at over inflated prices when I has a fantastic discount structure with Hilti giving up to 70% discount.
I will make enquiries as to wether or not he is still at Hilti and if so ring him for the uncut version.
