Now that is thinking outside of the box...or at least about the box. 

I may have to try something similar; I was thinking about the ultimate dust deputy to save on bags and not have to pull the workcenter off of my ct48 every time a bag got full, but previously mentioned workcenter won't fit a normal dust deputy underneath it.  Maybe something like your idea w/ the cyclone off-center though.

I did some similar.I used an old dog food container.It is clear plastic with a sealed removable lid.

Nice idea!!! I may borrow it.  Got plenty of those kitty litter containers available @ my mothers place.
