Ultimate Dust deputy

Hi everybody.

Just curious if anybody has a current Ultimate Dust Deputy locked on a newer vac?  I have a UDD from 2009ish that isn’t locking too great onto my 2015 MIDI. It keeps popping off the top and it’s getting annoying. 

Anybody have a current UDD locked to a newer vac and having this issue?  I have a 2015 MIDI 2016 36AC and two new MIDI’s purchased within the past two years. 

Would like to get a new UDD if they updated the locking design to the vac.

I was having a similar issue with my older UDD on a newer CT26. I used a small rotary bit and a small file to deepen the slots next to/between the tabs on the UDD so that green hose garage tabs now fully engage with the UDD. Much more secure connection now.
