I could use it to distress flooring

You probably could use it. Around here, people like the HL 850 Planer for distressing flooring, posts, and just about anything else.

Normally, they use the Undulating Head but I had a guy come by recently that wanted the Coarse Head for the same purpose. I guess I can see why, but I consider it trickier to use the Coarse Head to achieve a random-looking result. Everybody has different techniques and different results...

Matthew is fine.  He is busy catching up on things that got put on the back burner but he still visits.  He'll be back.  He's playing with his Festools.   ;D

I think Matthew would be pretty happy with how things turned out, just look at all of the posts today, volume continues to increase not to mention the vast majority of them stick to related subjects.  I'll bet his blood pressure has dropped a few points since he moved on.  It's a nice continuation/transition of what he started.

So I just have to make sure the things I want to thread on it are metric.

I need to find a big wire wheel brush for it, I am not sure why but, it would be neat.

I could use it to distress flooring, or clean the grill. [cool]

Maiking an adapter between 14mm and 5/8 mounts would be difficult (probably impossible) but between 14mm and 7/8 would not be too hard. Granted, there are probably fewer items available in 4 1/2 diqameter with 7/8 thread but there are some good ones.
