well since I bought the planer I sold another mantel this one for inside with legs !  the pictures came out pretty good.  I am having them paint the inside wall area a different color to  seperate it from the outside mantel wall to give it some offset.

I made this one at the jobsite, custom fluted and routed out the edge on the base pieces and the 2 pieces under the mantel, installed it in less than 3 hours ! and 35 min for my painter to stain it.

Festools made this job Faster !
