Anyone know what this is. I got it with a wood lathe but not sure what it is used for. Sorry about the upside down pics.

My guess was a parting tool on a guide plate, but I couldn't figure out how it fit into the lathe bed.  I like Shane's answer better.
 
Thanks for the quick reply, Shane. Don't know how you found that so fast, must be some lathe experience some where in the past. RustE, my thoughts exactly. Doesn't look like the safest tool too use, think I'll stick it n the shelf with the other antiques.
 
I too believe it is a cutting tool used with a template to make copies.

It tough to use upside down though. :-)

The vertical pin under the cutting bit rides against the template.

113.817625 certainly looks like a Craftsman part number, those that
begin with 113 were made by Emerson IIRC. That marriage ended some
time in the 90's I believe.
