Just a reminder for people with multiple vacs with bluetooth remotes.
If you want to use a remote that has previously been used with another vac, you first have to "unpair" it by, holding both the buttons on the remote till it flashes slightly red-ish (the manual calls it magenta). After this you can pair it as usual.
(When I had to send one of my vacs in for a warranty repair, I put the bluetooth module in my other vac; I ordered an extra bluetooth module, and used that remote on another hose, both with the same vac; later, when I was using both vacs on the same job I couldn't get one of the hoses to pair with the other vac, I tried removing the battery, reïnstalling the module,... (there are plenty of clips that show the pairing process, but none tell this, so I eventually downloaded a manual to figure this out.
