Connecting CT-36 w/ Bluetooth Module to Festool Work App

Hi All,

Is this possible?  Searching seems to come up with tutorials around pairing the module to the remote itself, but how do I add my 36 w/ the bluetooth retrofit to the app.  Is that possible, or on the feature road map for the app?

Once you add the tool, there's a 'Connect Now' button (or a similarly named button). Press that and a tutorial photo shows up. Do what the photo says and a pairing request confirmation box will show up (at least on iPhone) and you confirm pairing.

I don't have the CT-36, but for the CTC-SYS, you press and hold the BT button until it goes solid then a couple seconds later the pairing request comes in.

All my tools were previously registered via the website and showed up when I logged in.  I don't see a tutorial or "Connect Now" button.

The Bluetooth module for the CT is just a 'dumb' module, in that its sole purpose is to control the vacuum through the board pins.  There isn't any data passed between the CT and the Bluetooth module that would allow the Bluetooth module to report a model or serial number or other information to the app.

The CT-MIDI-I and MINI-I are different inasmuch as the Bluetooth module is built into the unit and cannot (easily) be moved to a different unit without removing the entire control board, which starts to put you into a Ship of Theseus scenario.

Thanks -- I was going to be thoroughly impressed if Festool engineers had the foresight to put the data on a bus to the Bluetooth module.  It does feel like a simple bluetooth trigger/hack would or should be possible with the app.
