Up to 15% discount for orders over $500 + usual free shipping. A lot of items are not in stock, but can be ordered at this discount.

Today only.

It gets even better. You can stack the SAVE15, SAVE10 and SAVE5 codes to get 30% discount!

Just some advice based on my experiences with Amazon. I doubt they intended to allow stacking of these codes. If it works, great, but the longer you wait, the less likely that will be the case. Also, these coupons are "while supplies last", which sounds stupid but appears to apply to many Amazon promotions. They do cap the number of people that can use them and will invalidate the code when the cap is reached. This can override the days the promotion is in effect. Customer service will not get around this, they will just regurgitate their fine print. So if you want something, don't wait until the end of the day, get on it!

I wonder if I can order from amazon.ca and get it shipped to U.S. with Prime ? tempted to try :) anyone know if it will work ?

Prime purchased for Amazon.com (USA) does not apply to a) international shipping and b) purchases on Amazon.ca. You can purchase Prime for Canadian Amazon, but then it still does not cover international shipping.

If you add an item to you cart and try to check out, Prime or no Prime, you can add it. When you go to check out and enter the shipping address you will get a message that the item is not eligible for shipment to your area. Same thing happens if you use a personal address or try to pick an Amazon Dropbox.

Got a Rotex 90 today, eyeing one for a while.  Hopefully I'll be able to use the $50 voucher that came with my Pro 5 sander and they see amazon.ca as an " authorized dealer".

15% off + $50 off !  Not even a reconditioned tool this time :)

yeah, I didnt think it would work.  Otherwise at 30% off (by combining the discounts) a Kapex would be on its way.  In other post I mention that I am likely to buy a competitor brand but with that discount I would have done it. Oh well, enjoy your discount Canada !

I thought there was a no discounts policy for Festool, or is that only in the USA?

It's only the USA that gets shut out of these deals.

Shame on you Festool!

Shame? Na. IMO I'm kinda glad Festool keeps the prices all the same here, it helps the brick and mortars avoid becoming Amazons free showroom.

Would be nice to get a few more promotions this year though.  I try to buy tools through the local stores and avoid shipping damage.

I would be seriously tempted by a domino xl promotion.

Gotta thank Bob for starting a thread on this on the Canadian Woodworking forum.  I didn't trip over all this til there were minutes left to exercise the promo and I was successful stacking my promos for a full 30% discount.  I ended up buying the RO 90 like Bob and also the DTS 400.  Saved just shy of $300 plus what the sales tax (HST) would be at 13%.

The thing is, it says one to two months til it ships, but at least it shows as being sold by Amazon.ca and not a third party, so my chances it won't get cancelled are better.  We'll see what happens.

it was probably the sale of the century for festool, a brand that never goes on sale. Got a ps 420 ebq, accessories, total to be around 1k. saves $300. Oh, i was doubting if i would ever use the $50 voucher from the pro 5 ltd, i guess i won't have to doubt anymore :)

I was so tempted to get the kapex... but i'm still dreaming about ps4 pro.. i think i'll stick with my dws780.

A friend of mine dropped 3k onto amazon. Saves a grand.

Oh, they have shipped a bunch of stuff already, so they are definitely honoring it.

How did you save on HST?  My order says I was charged the tax
