How did you save on HST?  My order says I was charged the tax

it was probably the sale of the century for festool, a brand that never goes on sale. Got a ps 420 ebq, accessories, total to be around 1k. saves $300. Oh, i was doubting if i would ever use the $50 voucher from the pro 5 ltd, i guess i won't have to doubt anymore :)

I was so tempted to get the kapex... but i'm still dreaming about ps4 pro.. i think i'll stick with my dws780.

A friend of mine dropped 3k onto amazon. Saves a grand.

Oh, they have shipped a bunch of stuff already, so they are definitely honoring it.

I think what he means is that one is not just saving 30%, but also that on the 30% that is discounted, they are avoiding that much more in that taxes are not being applied to the discouted amount.  You still pay sales tax on the remainder. In Ontario, it is 13% HST.

How do we go about using our vouchers against our amazon purchases?

The instructions are on the voucher.  IIRC, it is done online.  There's a unique voucher number printed on the voucher.

Another 15% off day at Amazon.ca today. Unfortunately no code stacking this time.

[member=57769]TylerC[/member]  Are we going to see this discount/promotion in the U.S. sometime this year too?

last time when you could stack them, I almost bought a Kapex.  I was going to have it shipped to friend in Canada and bring it back home when I visited him in the summer.  A discount in the U.S. would likely generate some sales that normally would not happen.  I admit, I will likely get a Kapex someday...but very likely a used one unless there is a discount someday. A discount we can stack like last time :)

Sales tax depends on Province, anywhere from 5% to over 13%. So much for Festools strictly enforced no discount policy, your Canadian Dealers must be getting pretty pissed off that you are allowing another sale that cuts them out of the picture completely. You guys better get your act together or you're going to have a big dealer mutiny. I know if I was a dealer in the US or Canada I would want somebodies head. LOL

Shame? Na. IMO I'm kinda glad Festool keeps the prices all the same here, it helps the brick and mortars avoid becoming Amazons free showroom.

Agreed

I'm stunned Festool USA is allowing Amazon.ca to allow these tool discount promos being applied to Festool products for a second time.  If I was a Canadian Festool retailer I'd be pissed!

Has anyone received any of the their festool orders from Amazon placed during this sale?  I just received an e-mail saying my order is delayed until the end of April and one item was cancelled from the order.  They claimed they couldn't obtain it?  I have a feeling the entire order might eventually get cancelled

On the first sale where you could stack the discounts, I am about to receive mine per looking at my Amazon account.  Supposed to ship today in fact.  I've seen pretty well everybody receive theirs.  I had ordered my tools in the final minutes of the sale near midnight, so I'm probably at the tail end of the order fulfillment.  It did say one to two months for shipping, so I can't complain.
