I wanted to go ahead and publish these dates so those who are interested and mark their calendars.  He is a list of the planned end-user training events for June and July.  I will post more detailed information along with a method for sign up in the near future.

June 2-3, Indianapolis, Advanced Routers
June 22-23, Las Vegas, Advanced Routers
July 12-13, Indianapolis, Advanced Routers
July 15-16, Indianapolis, Onsite Cabinets

Feel free to let me know if you have questions.

Thanks,
Shane

Any hope you will take these training courses to other parts of the country?  How about our nation's capital?

How about a solid surface class, I'll even go out to Vegas for it so Festool USA doesn't have to move their assets.

For the foreseeable future, I expect classes will only be offered at our two training facilities.  I know that there has been discussion about a door/drawer curriculum and possibly solid surface.  Steve Bace, the trainer in Vegas, was a certified trainer for ISFA before coming on board with Festool.  So, he knows his stuff when it comes to that type of work.

I've been thinking about getting into solid surface so I'd be interested in this class should it be added to the curriculum. Besides, I can fly to Vegas in about the same amount of time it takes to drive to Indianapolis, costs about the same too.

Shane,

Any more classes in Aug/Sep/Oct.  I am interested int he Adv Routers in Las Vegas. And June looks little iffy right now.
Also do you have the course outline for the advanced router class?

Vijay

It appears that I've been living in a cave.

These events sound like a brilliant opportunity to really learn how to unleash the power of the Festools.

Pardon my ignorance, but is there a cost to attend the events, and how does one sign up?

Thanks.

Neal

The last one I attended was $ 100 for a 2 day class which was a great deal and a great learning experience.  Travel and accommodations are additional of course. Festool treats you very well- provide bagels, lunch, snacks, soft drinks, dinner.

If you can swing the tine you should do it.  I am sure Shane will be posting registration information soon.

Vijay

That is extremely encouraging.

I look forward to hearing more from Shane.

Thanks.

End user training classes have become a regular addition to our training program now as far as I know.  So, expect to continue to see opportunities to attend various classes in the future.  I know there have been recommendations by previous attendees for classes on other topics like door and drawer construction, solid surface, etc. so I expect at some point those types of classes will also be offered.  Steve is in Indy this week and I'll try to speak with him specifically about the solid surface class for those who expressed an interest.

Yes, we will continue to have end user training classes into the future.  Classes for that time period will be scheduled and posted on the forum about a month or so in advance.

I've never attended one of these. I'd like to attend the class in Las Vegas. How can I register? Specific dates/times? Can you recommend lodging accommodations? There must be a place on this website, but darned if I can find it.
Any info will be appreciated.
Andy
