After being spoiled by the dust pickup on the 1010 and 1400 routers, it was time to do something about the old Elu 3338 router.  I *like* that Elu - it was the first really "good" tool I ever bought, followed closely by an Elu plate joiner and belt sander.

The dust collection parts are for a DeWalt 925, which is identical to the Elu, and were still available from the service center in Denver.  The hose and adapters, alas, are no longer available.  The tube is a wand from an old Dust Devil hand vac we had years ago, and a generic hose is plugged into a Fein stepped tool adapter at the top.

I know it will not be as effective as the Festool dust collection, but rcatching some of the dust is better than catching none of it.

A good solid router I have about 4 of those in the trend t11 format.

still being made although I have no idea by who or where they are made.

you will get the finer dust  [cool]if not all the chips depending on how you are using it.
