Use of Wixley Fence Readout on MFT

Due to age and poor eyesight I have a lot of trouble making accurate and repeatable measurements. Has any body used a Wixley Digital Fence Readout on an MFT set workpiece/guiderail position?

Are there other digital alternatives to Wixley?
