Using a OF1400 with the Leigh jig - centering problem

I am having problems with routing through dovetails on a leigh jig with the OF1400, I am using the guide bush adaptor with the two piece guide bush. There is a gap down the left side of my work between the pins and tails. I can see the guide bush is closer to the straight bit on one side to the other which I am pretty sure is the cause. I have just routed with an old trend router, and were I am able to center the guide bush and the results are perfect.

There doesn't seem to be any adjustment on the base of the router for centering the guide bush. Do you guys know of anyway of centering the guide bush to the router bit?

If there is no way of centering the bush and the guide bush adaptor is a snap fit, should this be perfectly central to the router, and do you think I have a bad one?

Any help would be really appreciated.
Cheers David

Thanks very much for the info. I've found Trend do a sub base so different routers can use their guide bushes, I'll think I'll give that a try.

I wonder if Festool have anything in the pipeline to be able to adjust guide bushes?

Thanks again.

Look at my OF1400 video - I give the part numbers for everything you need for the Leigh jig.

OOPS - misread your post - they do a centring  mandrel for the 1010 I think.

The Festool guide bushing plate for the OF 1010 is really a tight fit, hence no adjustability, but the Leigh 704R guide bushing plate has enough adjustability to allow proper centering of the guide bushing with a mandrel.  This is the main reason that I prefer using the OF 1010 with the Leigh jig.  This and the lighter weight.
