Hi I am fairly new here (first post to be honest) and did some searching around for using the CMS Module plate for a TS55 build into your own workbench (purchased plans for the Ron Paulk workbench). This to be able to use the TS55 as a table saw and have 'best of both breeds'. However I couldn't find any topics.
I am about to purchase my TS55 and was wondering if I could combine the CMS plate into my DIY workbench (eg close to a lefthand corner). When combined with a CMS/MFT V-grove profile (partnr 472863 (long) and 472862 (short)) this would replicate the CMS with Groundunit (part 561566). At the moment I am looking at the the TS55 CMS module, but the idea is that it could be extended to a router CMS module as well.
I am looking for advice / video's / posts of others that might have attempted it. Maybe I am completely overestimating the need for a 'tablesaw' when I have the TS55 with guide rails.
This might influence if I purchase the CMS unit now with our without saw (and buy the guiderails later).
