Will the - Festool 204924 Braided Sleeve Antistatic Hose, 36mm X 3.5m AS/CTR - store OK in the "hose garage" of the MINI or MIDI or is full use of the storage capacity limited to the 27mm hose?

Thanks.

Good question. On the 26 you can store a 5m 27mm hose in there and the 36 3,5m fits just fine too. Not sure about the Mini / Midi. Which Mini/Midi version is this about?

I'm considering an upgrade to the newest versions. Haven't decided on MINI or MIDI but leaning to the smaller.
The word is that the 36 hose maximizes the suction capacity so it seems a good addition especially in conjunction with the track saw and routers. These have always been underserved by the 27mm hose.

Of course my old MIDI might not in the same league as the current version. Does anyone know the CFM of 2006 versions compared to the 130 cfm of the current models? Maybe it the vac and not the hose that is the trouble spot.

Somewhere in 2011/2012 the Mini/Midi got a new motor that made the suction on par with the 26.

But the 36 will still be an improvement.

Definitely not on the old, pre-Bluetooth Mini.  I grabbed the Tradesman Installer cleaning set with the 36mm 3.5m hose for my mini and the lack of a 90-degree connector and the hose garage size prevent it from fitting.

I'm interested to know on the newer model because I'm thinking of adding a Midi-I alongside my Mini-Old to gain BT capabilities.

The Festool 2008 catalog states this:

"With 99 CFM and only 62 dB (on low setting), these CT's can quickly and quietly remove large amounts of debris, with minimal noise distractions."

Like Coen was saying, the MIDI became a 137 CFM machine in either 2012 or 2013.
