First time posting, anywhere I think?
I just wanted to share the solution I came up with for mounting the vac system at a comfortable height. The mft with the vac sys puts materials to high (for me, and some others I gather) when using the domino cutter. We use the domino almost daily  so I wanted a really solid base. Using some cast iron legs weighting 125lbs plus each, a 2" thick fire door weighting a lot, 2 sheets of 3/4" plywood and some walnut left over for an old job.  This bench is heavy and stable,set up for two different work heights, allows systainers and vac pump storage.[attachimg=1] I want to credit (tjbnwi) for this post, after seeing his solution, I felt like I should share mine.

Thanks for the mention, my set up was an adaptation also.

Pictures rotated.

Backdragon, that is a slick setup for sure! How about giving us a tour of your shop? Looks very nice and tidy.

Duc996, thank you. I'll be sure to do that when I figure out how and where to post it.  Btw, the clean and tidy is constant work for sure

The bench is sweet... [cool]

Just curious if those legs are available commercially.

Sorry cheese, maybe 100 years ago. I bought the "very" used some time back, waiting for just the right project

Good call on "just the right project". [big grin]

Very intelligent design well executed.

I am drooling over the amount of space you have in your shop. Professional?

Also, if you search on "workbench legs" on Amazon, there are some excellent legs for shop use. I used them for an extension to my MFT for mounting a heavy vise.

Cheese, thank you.
Bird hunter, (semi, pro). (I think). Just checked out amazon, good to know, thanks for looking and the tip.

[member=64329]Backdragon[/member] very nice work

But I'm drooling over the assembly table in the background of your third pic. Is that another vintage  base or did you fab that? More details please. Thanks. Ron

Rvieceli, that's a work in progress. My new work bench. Friend gave me the extruded aluminum that I used for the legs. When I finish it I'll post it here as it is festool related...
Thanks for your interest
