Vac Sys Question

I'm think about getting the Vac Sys clamping system. When you open the Systainers that house the various parts of the system, you're hit with that familiar vinyl or plastic smell.( think new shower curtain on steroids....)
Does that plastic hose smell ever die down with time?  I'd hate to have my small shop funking of plastic for months if I bought the Vac Sys.... [eek]

I leave mine out,but i miss that smell. Its one of my favorite things

It only stinks in the box. Once it's out, the smell of whatever it is I'm working on is never not stronger than the little strip of hose on the floor.

Just close the Systainer...it's kind of like putting those doggie poop bags in the trash...once they're jettisoned, no more stink.
