I definitely assumed that the foot valve was attached in such a way that it bled the entire system and there was no other way to hook it up, especially when the only other versions of the setup I found with multiple pedals were using a different pump (an Excel 5, I believe). [embarassed]
I still have my system sitting in the Systainers and happen to have a second foot valve and somehow a second pump, but figured that the second foot valve would just be relegated to a completely different room with the other pump in case I needed to move a pod over there. I'll have to look more carefully at everything when I assemble it.
That said, the manual for the VAC-SYS is severely lacking in this regard. There isn't even a manual that shows how to properly integrate the T-connector, etc. from the SE-2 in with the SE-1 Set, at least not that comes with the system nor on the FUSA website (the SE-1 and SE-2 systainers I received both came with the same manual).
