Now I have no excuse not to use my SYS VAC.
Thank you to those that inspired me to build my own SYS VAC cart.

From the beautiful look, I assume this cabinet is going in your formal dining room?  [smile]  Seriously, very nice looking project.

Very nice looks like furniture.

Does it expand to be able to use it on wider longer pieces?

Thank you everyone. The wood is walnut. It is not expandable.
I do admit it is overkill for a shop. Last fall I had to retire from the remodeling work that I had been doing for the past 45+ years. Since I am now spending a lot of time in the shop & have lots of walnut & cherry lumber. I also had to organize my tools better. I had several craftsman tool cabinets with drawers filled with tools. I decided to combine the need to organize & my supply of lumber & build shop furniture. In the process I found lots of tool that I forgot I had because I could not find them.
Here is some more shop furniture.

Wow Chris, again nice work.
Thanks for the shot in the arm to get more motivated on getting more organized.
I agree on if your need to build shop furniture, build it so you can enjoy it.
Rick.

Speechless!

Careful my friend!  You do stuff like that for use IN the shop, you've set the standard VERY HIGH for work done for SWMBO!  [big grin] [big grin] [big grin]

Wow,  well done indeed!  Beautiful work and definitely something to aspire to.

Awesome! Not overkill in my opinion. Might as well enjoy it. Functional and beautiful.

Thank you everyone.

wow you definately set the bar in shop organization and cabinetry. Yer gonna be a hard act to follow buddy

Where do you find the label holders? Kind of reminds me of the (old) card catalogs in a library.

That looks fantastic. It's really nice to see that kind of attention/care for shop furniture.
