VECTURO BLADE HSB 100/HCS - Can You rotate the plastic guard to use unused teeth

Is there a way to remove and reattach the black plastic guard (see attached picture) on the HSB 100/HCS blade to use the unused teeth. Just thought I would ask before I attack a $100 CDN blade with a nail set and a hammer. Which brings me to my next question does anyone have a better method then a nail set and hammer. The way the clips appear to work looks like I can break the plastic guard fairly easy so any suggestions would be appreciated.

The plastic guard unsnap from the blade, rotate 90°, snap back onto the blade.
