Quite a simple project but required a bit of faffing about; for example finding short stubby coach screws.
Fits nicely in a Sys 4. I've adopted the approach of making everything portable but not necessarily storing them all in systainers, it helps keep the cost of systainers sensible.
The vice is a Record No3 Engineers on a swivel base. When positioned facing the front, the handle rotates perfectly without fouling the wooden base. I can even clamp it to the top of a Sys-MFT, and with the collective weight, it doesn't move. It's only likely to "go portable" a few times a year, but was fun to do.
