Hi,
I have a CT-26 Dust Extractor and a Oenida Ultimate Dust Deputy mounted on top of it.

I would like to consider the possibility of adding a custom wooden box in between those two items. I want a custom box because I want to featue side access to its contents. The factory Systainers organizers with drawers are sort of what I want, but I am interested in using a simple door and a larger volume space.

I found some DIY brackets that will let me mount a "base" to the top of the CT-26, but I am having difficulty figuring out how to replicate the older style Systainer clamps so that I may mount the top of my planned box with the bottom of the Dust Deputy.

I have seen many photos of DIY boxes made with the old Systainer clamps, but I have not found any details on how it is done.

I am hoping someone will have a suggestion for where I can learn how to adapt to the old style clamping system.

Thank you.

Hi,
After walking out to shop and reviewing how the Dust Deputy box is mounted to the CT-26 the attachments do not seem very complicated. The Dust Deputy provides some small "nubs" rather than an exact replication of the systainer system, so it appears that many options will be available.

Thank you.

I (and many others) have the 26/Dust Deputy set up and I’m thinking the addition of another box  might get pretty tall and top heavy...have you thought of that
