It is my understanding that Festool holds Clinics / Seminars that are inviation only at a few sites around the country.  It would seem the vast majority of Festool users would never have an opportunity to attend so why not make a video of at least some of what is taught - whatever might best lend itself to an insturctional video. The videos could then be posted on You Tube for all to see.

Thanks

Kevin, this has been discussed many times and it's on Festool radar.  I'm not sure exactly what clinics/seminars you're referring to.  They do have the training classes that are open for anyone to enroll in.  One thing to keep in mind is that the training classes are priced that Festool isn't making money.  I'm sure there might be some small gains from the residual sales.  Producing videos isn't free, even the short, off the cuff, video clips we've Festool do take a few hours of someones time.  Any meaningful instructional video would be expensive to produce.  Maybe when the economy turns around....

I have that camera and it is the best thing I have bought in ages. I took it skiing a couple of months ago. The picture quality is amazing.

But don't cheap out like I did and get the 960 for $180- go for the HD Hero for $300.
