Video of Makita Frank Talking About the Makita SP6000K Plunge Saw

Watched the video - Why is 48 degree bevel better than 45 degree?  You can turn it up to 11 (like Spinal tap) but I'm not getting the benefit.

I guess we can have situations in life when a wall comes together at less than a 90 degree angle so then if one was putting up trim that butted at the outside corner of this wall there may be a need for more than two 45 degree bevels.  Seems this going a couple of degrees past perfect is common in CSMS and such perhaps more so than in circular saws.  I didn't hear anything that would make me buy this saw over the TS55 though...

Best,
Todd

The extra degrees on the bevel are a usefull feature. And the anti-tilt thing is a nice find aswell.
But the makita doesn't have a riving knife (The festool, makita and most mafells all have springloaded rivingknives (so you don't have to remove them when actually plunging in the middle of a piece)
