I've seen them here. It's a nice way to use the new side stops, but other than that I'd rather have the FS-Bag and the Sys-FS/2

You can always order one from Europe if you really want one know.

It's how we in Europe get our ThinkPads. And prior to the terror hysteria; guns.

Coen,

I bought one from the U.K., but the shipping was $65 and duty fees were an additional $15, plus you still have to find a dealer or person willing to sell it to anyone here.

I am not located in the states and I have one. I do think you guys deserve to be able to buy one too..its a very usefull bit of kit and worth the price when compared smaller tool bags/boxes..

I had one and sold it  ;D [laughing] it was shipped to Norway to a fellow forum member.

I have to admit that I voted "NO"  There are other products already here in NA  that work well for the purpose.  ( I use a hard-sided keyboard case, others here have said that they use snow board cases)  I would prefer that Festool concentrate on bringing in their unique products that are unavailable through other venders.

I voted no as well.

I heard that the quality of that bag was not what up to Festool usa's standards.

I would rather have tools then fashion accessories like that bag.

Darcy,

When I reported that the 5 testers didn't feel that it would hold up well,  that was the original information I got.  Later on I found out that was not applicable to this bag.  It was a prototype that was tested here and 3 out of the 5 felt that way about the prototype.  This is definitely not a "fashion" bag, but a well constructed tool accessory for protecting a valuable investment - your tools, your livelihood.  I also don't see how keeping this bag out of N.A. would have any affect on other "more important" items as another poster had stated, since it's an item that's been in production.

I also voted no. I'd rather make a bag myself (suede, canvas, denim or whatever) and add whatever accessories or additions to it that I deemed necessary. Together, my sewing machine and I could custom design a bag and save money in doing so. ~ then there's the satisfaction of making something to order for yourself. Can't beat that.

[thumbs up]
Upscale, that sounds good to me!  If you've got the talent, skills and time, I say GO FOR IT!

I'm considering a case for my larger 3000 and 1900 guide rails, made by a local guy who makes plastic style instrument cases.

I wouldn't waste money on something to keep my rails in.

I almost dread taking my Stabila's in and out of the case each day.

I do not treat my rails delicately, as a matter of fact I probably toss them around more then anything.
They ride on a shelf in my trailer or on the floor or propped up in the corner.

I keep all my rail accessories, saw parts and clamps in a sys 1 anyways.

My fence and protractor unit for my mft/3 was lost in my garage for months on end, until the other day.

Youre wrong there its very good quality well the one I had was anyway.

I would love one of these bags as I am always working out in the field and could use some rail organization.  Also Ken one day I would like to see yours.  I live in neptune right off the asbury circle.
