I had some beautiful black walnut cutoffs that I just could not toss. I ended up turning small bowls with them.
I usually use wax on decorative bowls, but decided to try Minwax Wipe-On Poly.
It turned out great. I could add coats after about 15 minutes of drying. I did have to sand with 320 after the 1st coat, but the rest went on with no sanding.
