Quarter sawn walnut plywood panels .. Good look  for  client on a budget. Cut panels, edge tape ,applied good stuff oil, painted wall black where you'd see through 3/16 reveals, & installed. Oh yeah,  and one more coat of oil.

Nice. I love that look. What size are they cut to?  And pricing? Around here I think 4x8x3/4" sheets run over a $100

Begs the question: how did you attach them to the wall?

Also, is that a fireplace?

i used cleat system from fastcap. After I installed all panels then removed and reinstalled with sola adhesive & a few micro pins. And yes it's a gas feed fireplace ,but it's not a wood burning,it has something in it similar to fire and ice(crushed tempered glass).
@ awill66 it's almost $200 per sheet but we only needed couple sheets. And sizes of panels were determined by f.p. opening. As a rule for panels I always layout in odd #s.  In this case 5wide & 5high would be to tight.

Yet another thing I've learned on the fog.  I've used z clip hangers which have a very low profile, but no adjustability (well, limited adjustability).

Nice looking job!

Very nice, looks great.  Must of been a South County home. Im going to save this in my bookmarks for possible future project ideas.

I did a lot of that type of paneling years ago. Fitting out commercial office toilets. Mainly we did maple paneling which we hung on 2x1 frames painted matt black and we left 3mm flash gaps.
