I have a Fuji MM4 with the 3m pls system and I love it but would like to add a pressure pot to my system so I have less refills. I have looked at a lot of the other threads and people’s setups. So my plan is MM4 to Fuji 2.5 gal pressure pot, my turbine hose will go straight to gun then compressor to PP and fluid line from PP to gun. My confusion with this setup is what do you do with the small hose barb port on the back of the T70 gun, do you plug it or is there some different fitting I need that connects the small clear hose to turbine hose.

FWIW - I had looked into using a 2.5gal pressure pot with another Turbine setup ( Graco 9.5). I was told that the turbine would not be able to run that large of a pressure pot. You would need to add a separate compressor to run the pot.

Ya that is my plan I have a Rolair jc10 plus that would go to the pressure pot and only use would b to push the fluid to the gun, I’m just confused on the little clear hose on the gun that usually plugs into the gravity or siphon cup that pressurize the cup to push the fluid to the nozzle. Idk if I need some other fitting or do I just plug that small hose line so that the air from the turbine isn’t blowing out the back on the gun

I would assume plug it but I don’t know for sure. I’m sure [member=4105]tjbnwi[/member] can let you know for sure.

Had to look at the Fuji 2.5 pot to see how it was pressurized.

To be clear you need an air compressor to pressurize this pot. This pot does not pressurize using the turbine. A small one will work just fine, it is there to move the fluid, not atomize the product.

With the 2.5 gallon pot you can just set the gallon of product in the pot, you do not have to dump the product in the pot. Seal the pot, pressurize it you're good to go.

Get some 1 gallon paint pail screens, cut them up into 6" squares, cable tie one of the squares to the screen on the bottom of the pick up tube.

To answer your question, you can just reverse the check valve that came with the system or get a cap for the port, either way you should block the port. I use the check valve because it's easy to just reverse it if I need to spray a small amount using the PPS system.

I have a Qual Craft SS pot, one of the compressors I use, I have used as small as a Senco 1010, how the 1 gallon fits, the screen, the junk it catches.
