Hey guys I need to get my hands on a few accessories for my OF 1400 EQ.
I just bought it locally and it was missing a few items.

Right now I need:
  • 1/4" Collet (Product No. 492141)
  • Guide Bushing Adaptor (Product No. 493566)

I would also like to get my hands on the:
  • Side Stop Rods (No Replacement #)
  • 8mm Collet (Product No. 492005)
  • Centering Mandrel (Product No. 492187)
  • Edge Guide (Product No. 492636)

If I knew the accessories were going to cost so much I may have just bought the unit brand new for just about the same price of replacing everything. If you have any of these products and your looking to sell them please let me know.

Let me know.

With the part numbers, you could contact a full-service Festool dealer to order them for you.  I know I recently ordered many replacement parts for the MFT-1080.  Granted, someone might have unused parts they want to sell off.  Good luck!

Well I broke down and went to M&M Tools & Machinery here is Salt Lake and they sold me the demo 1/4" Collet and I put in a order for the Guide Bushing Adapter.

I'm still looking for the other items so still let me know what you got.

The rods you need are part number 463147.  You will need two (2).   The link below will take you to page 1 of 2 pages for the OF 1400 EQ.  You will need to click on the right arrow at the top of the diagram to advance to page 2.  Once there, you will see item number 94 which lists for $6.97 each.

EKAT Parts Catalog - OF 1400 EQ

It is unlikely that anyone would part with any of the items you are looking for.  So, you might as well go ahead and order the remaining items you want.

Corwin: Thanks for the feed back. I'm glad to see the rods are available and I'm sure after talking to a few people no one would part with them.
I'm gonna still keep on waiting to see if anyone has anything else I'm looking for since a few of the items are known to show up on ebay and craigslist every so often. I just had my 4th son this last week so things are really tight right now and I'm also just starting out in woodworking so any thing less then new will be ok for me.

I bought it from a local hobbyist. He seemed to have everything Festool sold. This was one of his 6 routers and he only used it a few times. $300 is not that bad seeing it was only missing the rods, 8mm collet, 1/4" collet, and the guide bushing adapter.

I just picked up an 8mm Collet on eBay for $32, so all in all it ended up costing me $384 after the missing parts - the rods. Not to bad. I saved a little over $100 and the router does not have a scratch on it.
