Warped Track saw rails

  Just a note for people wanting to order rails through the mail.  You don’t know what you’re getting until you open the box. I just received a 75”  rail through the mail and it was warped from the factory. Had a good 1/8” hook on one end which made it useless. Also the chip guard was way off by about 1/2” from end to end.  Do not assume that these come perfect and ready to do accurate work.  Trust but verify.

That's too bad... [sad] Just curious if that rail is one of the new Made in the USA rails?  Also curious as to how it was packaged?

When I bought my recon 55 a couple years ago the rail was off by about 3mm on the last 20".  Uncle Bob gave me Festool's #  They were great, three days later I had a replacement and they did not want the warped one back. I discover the discrepancy when I joined my two 55s together and it ran off of the 8020 extrusion that I used to ensure my joined rails were straight.
