was it really worth it?

something similar happened here a while back. a company put in a state of th eart allarm adn cameras everywhere. they came in a robed the lot.

I tend to believe that it has very little to do with economic conditions.  This is actually more where values and morals come into play.  Drive by shootings isn't necessarily due to economics, although they could be in a turf war that could give them an economic advantage.  I believe however that it's more of not valuing life itself and/or any other rules of good behavior.  It's easy for them to shoot someone and there's really no remorse because they are not really making a good/bad decision like most of us would.  I have camera's all around my house and watch people try and open doors on my vehicles quite often.  I even had a FedEx driver steal a package off my front porch that was dropped off by a neighbor for my daughter.  He lost a good paying job and it wasn't because of trying to get money for food.  It's just the Values/Morals thing.  I send my video to a residential crime detective and he gets it aired on the nightly news in hopes that someone will id and turn them in.  We have bad parenting along with a super expensive, dysfunctional education system that is having a hard time teaching reading, writing and arithmetic.  What do you feel the odds are that the system that's can't teach that is also failing on teaching values and morals?  Buckle up because it's not going to get better any time soon.
