Water based over West Systems epoxy

Hey all,

I am experimenting with some black tinted WS epoxy (mica powder pigment) and have a few questions:

1.  Will a waterborne top coat be fine on it?  Meaning would it be sticky or have issues bonding.
2.  Any concerns with the powder pigment causing bleed into maple?  I don’t believe so, but again, this is my first experiment.

I haven’t tinted West Systems epoxy, but I have top coated with water based finishes many times. No issues there.
